  • Walk to Tan Son Nhat Aiport Bus Station (ground floor).
  • Board the Bus 152 to the Central Bus Station (opposite Ben Thanh market).
  • There are 2 choice:
    • Take the Bus 36, 102 in about 2 minutes, alight the bus top 23/9 Park 2 stop later.
    • Take a Vietnamese “motorbike taxi” to the hostel.
  • Bargaining for the price is a MUST. The transport fee from the bus station to Saigon Youth Hostel should be below 50,000 VND ( ~1.5 USD).
  • You must bring some small note for the bus ticket fee (6.000 VND/ ticket). If your luggage weight above 10 kilograms, you must pay for another ticket
  • BY TAXI
  • If you prefer comfort and speed, simply hop on to a taxi  at Tan Son Nhat Airport or you can call a taxi (Vinasun or Mai Linh taxi). Let the taxi driver take you to 241/32 Pham Ngu Lao, District 1. Beware though, taxi rides from the airport will cost around 200.000 VND.

You may ask the taxi driver to use the taxi meter before departure and pay for the exact number that screened on the meter. Remember to bring some small note.

This is the good way for budget travelers. Saigon Backpackers Hostel locate in Pham Ngu Lao st., district 1, right Backpacker area, there many bus go to our hostel.

  • Walk to Tan Son Nhat Aiport Bus Station (ground floor).
  • Board the Bus 152 to the Central Bus Station (opposite Ben Thanh market).
  • There are 2 choice:
    • Take the Bus 02 to Pham Ngu Lao st., you will stop at the end of this street.
    • Or you can walk from Ben thanh market to our hostel around 15 minutes by walk.
  • Bargaining for the price is a MUST. The transport fee from the bus station to Saigon Youth Hostel should be below 50,000 VND ( ~1.5 USD).
  • You must bring some small note for the bus ticket fee (6.000 VND/ ticket). If your luggage weight above 10 kilograms, you must pay for another ticket
  • BY TAXI
  • It is really convenient and save your time due to it is completely depends on your schedule. You can drop us an email with flight details, we will arrange a private car accordingly. Or you can take the public taxi. It costs around 200.000 VND (~10 USD) and take 30 – 45 minutes depending on the traffic. It should be to take taxi (Vinasun or Mai Linh taxi) to Pham Ngu Lao st., near Thai Binh market, at the end of Pham Ngu Lao Street. Taxi will drop you at circus inside the Park, cross the opposite street go to the small valley, you will see “Truong Giang Hotel” and keep walking down the street, a white and highest building on your right. Or you ask taxi to call us (38370230) for hotel direction.
